"Through Him, We Are" - 05/09/17 - Isaiah 45-48

"I've wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings.
There's nothing left of your sins.
Come back to me, come back.
I've redeemed you." (45:22)

 He has opened my eyes to the spiritual warfare about me. I am so thankful for this. I am so blessed in knowing as I grow closer to ABBA, satan will be using all the tricks up his sleeve trying to cause me to doubt.

Doubt - you know, that one "sin" we committed all those years ago. Or that other "sin" we fell down in and wallowed for awhile - just the other day.

Doubt - that our sins are bigger than ABBA and we allow "shame" to be our focus. Not the grace and mercy ABBA poured over us from The Cross.

Doubt - that causes us to listen to the lies satan, self, or others whisper into our soul. Lies that we are not whom ABBA says we are, which is "fearfully and wonderfully made".

I am so thankful for His Word - our own personal Love Letter from Him - to reassure, affirm, confirm, and validate - we are His.

Through Christ, we are made Holy. we are made Pure. We are cleansed so we may be with our ABBA. Through Christ, He only sees us as His image.

I am so thankful to know, without a doubt, we are redeemed.

What great words to hear from our ABBA, our Daddy.

"I Have Redeemed You".

"O Lord, You have examined our heart
and know everything about us.

 You know when we sit down or stand up.
You know our thoughts even when we are far away.
You see us when we travel
and when we rest at home.
You know everything we do.
You know what we are going to say
even before we say it, Lord.
You go before us and follow us.
You place Your Hand of blessing on our head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for us,
too great for us to understand!

We can never escape from Your Spirit!
 We can never get away from Your Presence!

 If we go up to heaven, You are there;
if we go down to the grave, You are there.
If we ride the wings of the morning,
if we dwell by the farthest oceans,
even there Your Hand will guide us,
and Your Strength will support us.
We could ask the darkness to hide us
and the light around us to become night—
but even in darkness we cannot hide from You.
To You the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to You.

You made all the delicate, inner parts of our body
and knit us together in our mother’s womb.

 Thank you for making us so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well we know it.

 You watched us as we were being formed in utter seclusion,
as we are woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw us before we were born.
Every day of our life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.

 How precious are Your Thoughts about us, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
We can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when we wake up,
You are still with us!

 O God, if only you would destroy the wicked!
Get out of our life, you murderers.
They blaspheme You;
Your enemies misuse your name.

 O Lord, shouldn’t we hate those who hate You?
Shouldn’t we despise those who oppose You?
Yes, we hate them with total hatred,
for Your enemies are our enemies.

 Search us, O God, and know our heart;
test us and know our anxious thoughts.
Point out anything in us that offends You,
and lead us along the path of everlasting life."(Psalm 139)
