"First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don’t see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness." (1:1-2)
I am so thankful that each moment is a new beginning. That our Savior has wiped the slates of those who are in Him clean. That as long as we breath, we have the promise of new steps. Of hope. Of new years, new days, new moments. To know now, from the moment of creation the stars were on their journey to line up at the exact time of our Savior's birth. Our Savior. For a new life. The beginning of the new covenant in Him. Separating day from night. Evil from Good. Eternal Death from Eternal Life.

"God spoke: “Lights! Come out!
Shine in Heaven’s sky!
Separate Day from Night.
Mark seasons and days and years,
Lights in Heaven’s sky to give light to Earth.”
And there it was." (1:14-15)
He knows each of our numbered seasons, days and years. He has given us Light to mark them.
Our Light is His Son. Our Savior.
Our Light is The Holy Spirit. Our Helper.
Our Light is His Word. Our Guide.
Our Light is our ABBA. Our Daddy - The Creator of all.
Our Daddy. Who holds each of us in the palm of His hand.
New beginnings from nothingness..............only He can do that.
